Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Horse

Quite an attractive building, with a few interesting features on the façade (including the old-style pub sign above the main corner door). Refurbished with a light colour scheme inside the 'L'-shaped main bar and side room, with some semi-circular booths and small high tables. Various TV screens. Often a live music pub, although not on my Wednesday evening revisit. Doom Bar, Bass, Abbot, Castle Rock Harvest Pale (£3.80) and Old Rosie cider available from the total of eight handpumps this time.

A lively pub with considerable atmosphere, although I can't say I was totally sold on it. The peculiar furnishings included large semi-circular booths and painted tables, while the whole place is hung with flags and other detritus, much on a Mod theme including bits of scooter. Sports TV screens also seem present in most directions, although few of them were actually on. A pedestrian batch of ales included Abbot, Bass, Doom Bar and Harvest Pale, with a cider also available. Full marks for individuality but not my first choice.

A large opened out L shaped room inside the attractive exterior, an early opener at 10 am which helps if your ticking pubs. There are several elevated bench seating areas as well as some normal seating.There seemed to be a bit of a Mod theme going on with various related memorabilia around the pub. Eight handpumps in total but not all in use, beers on were Doom Bar, Abbot, Bass and a rather good Castle Rock Harvest Pale along with Old Rosie Cider. Nice enough.
