Real Ale Ray left this review about The Stew & Oyster
The beer quality in here along with the service was very good. We went for the Roosters Highway Fifty One and the Atom Blonde ale. Six handpumps with four in operation on this visit. The pub offers various types of stews and an array of oysters could be seen chilling on ice in the left hand corner of the bar. I would return here for the beer selection and condition of their beers alone.

I thought this was called Calls Landing when i went into it,but Rob say it is called Stew & Oyster so i must be wrong.
Once inside there is a square shaped room which is bare boarded, the room is divided into different areas, the seating is normal tables and chairs and bench seating.
There was a good choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Roosters Yankee which went down well as the last drink of my pub crawl, the other beers noted were Roosters Pilsner,Bad Beer Co Comfortably Numb and Roosters Fort Smith.
The background music was quite good.
A very pleasant place to have a drink, one to take the wife to.

Old Boots left this review about The Stew & Oyster
Housed in the old Call's Landing warehouse with its bar towards the back next to the river and canal. It has 6 six hand pumps on the steel panel clad counter. An old building but in a modern style with girders visible and wood floors. There's a mix of seating and lots of brick built bits have been added to form toilets and rear service areas. You only get Get Carter glasses to go with the views of a gentrified Leeds riverside. I quite liked it.
