Revolucion de Cuba is a Latino bar and restaurant in the tourist hotspot of Peter Street. The bar counter along the rear wall supports premium and craft keg, half a Peroni was £3 which is reasonable for the area. Card payments only. There is a stage on the left-hand wall that faces a small dance floor that is surrounded by seating. Food is available, menus are available via QR codes, which is fine when in an airport lounge, but not when I’m seven pints deep into an evening. It’s a bit gimmicky and touristy for my liking, but I will mention that the barmaid was extremely friendly.

Massive two floored bar with a ground floor and a cellar bar. Downstairs is Havana bar/club which is only open at weekends and on special occasions. We were in this part of the bar on a Friday a couple of weeks before Christmas. There was a Latino band on, but entrance was free. On the ground floor is the main bar and restaurant. We were in this part on the Thursday between Xmas & New Year and there was also a Latino band performing some of the time. The bar is a vast sea of lagers and cocktail menu's. They specialise in cocktails, especially during happy hour when they're two for one. On both occasions I've visited I've had a pint of San Miguel, which was OK. It's not really my type of bar, but the other half likes it and it's loads better than when it was Squares.
