A two room village pub, one end has a small lounge with a dart board whilst the rest of the pub is a long, thin room with a fireplace dividing it into two areas. Four handpumps were on the counter plus a new one being installed as I enjoyed a nice pint of Salopian Shropshire Gold, I could have chosen Doombar, Tetleys or Two Crowns Ten Bob instead. Apart from plain walls it's all very traditional, the plain walls may be due to a recent change of management, an odd point is a small brass Welsh dragon fixed to the chimney breast. A good basic pub.
