Bit of an unusual one- as noted below it’s set out like a cafe with lots of wooden dining tables and chairs. Decor is fairly simple and the walls are a mixture of exposed brick and grey paint. A fiercely independent pub so why have they tied themselves to Marstons? The selection of 6 ales was very mainstream and my pint of the Stag house ale was uninspiring though it seemed well kept. Food menus are everywhere and app/table service still offered. I believe they are a sister pub of the Withy Arms in Bamber Bridge, they both make extensive use of the naff Microsoft Calibri font. I didn’t know what to make of this pub, it’s a bit all over the place…

This place feels and looks like a cafe from inside. Its ok for cask ale as there are 5 available but it just doesn't feel comfortable and once you're in its just like sitting in a cafe waiting for your egg and chips. A large selection of Europops adorns the bar. Large outside area out back.

The Roebuck has just been took over by a new land lord denis Donn. Since he has taken over the pub atmosphere has completely change, for the better i may add.
The pub has just under gone a refurbishment and is look better than it has for at least the last 10 years.
With live football and entertainment most nights The roebuck really is the place to be in leyland.
