A GK-owned gastropub which has been very nicely modernized inside. Off-white and duck egg shades, plus rugs and fineries. The rear garden is also very well done and worth doing on a summers day I’d imagine. Friendly if corporate bar service, though what appeared to be Dappy from Ndubz emerging from the kitchen made us giggle. Three ales on and quite a good selection; GK IPA (inevitably, given the ownership), Truman's Runner and W&E Guardsman. The Truman’s was in really good shape but quite eye-watering at £4.20pp. Pleasant enough place and in the summer I’d happily go back for the garden and a decent beer.
