Strongers . left this review about Carters Bar
Carters Bar has a raised area with a pool table in the front right window and then a curved serving counter that supports standard and premium keg runs up the right-hand wall. A dodgem car sits in the front left window and banquettes run up the left-hand wall separated from the serving counter by a row of high table up the centre. In the left rear corner is a DJ booth, but during my recent midweek evening visit there was just some random background music. I was about eight pints deep when I visited so I quite liked the edgy atmosphere, but I probably wouldn’t have been so agreeable if I’d walked in cold. There was a bit of a weed smell, but then every town centre these days stinks of the stuff. This place made a change form a typical pub, but I doubt I’ll ever return.
