This is a carvery pub so expect the smell of roast dinners pervading the pub, greedy bastards with plates so chocker they can hardly carry them and a possible long wait to be served as numerous old dears take up the bar staffs time. 3 handpumps on the bar but only Greene King IPA and Wainwright's on. For food orientated days/nights out only to be honest.

Called in first time in many years just like it was kids running round smelt of pub food.
Was very busy it was tea time and being a carvery at the price the food is will be understaffed and the staff that was on was under too much pressure and looked as if they did not want to be there. The girl who served me said in a tone of voice are you being served that spoke volumes just about threw my pint at me will walk past more times than call in

This pub is more for meals as they do a carvery each day at a very reasonable price and is very good value. The pub has now started to serve cask beers, which makes it more my kind of pub.
