Great location on the banks of the River Test, the pub is good looking, multi-roomed and rambling inside, however in reality it is a touristy, foody destination, great for a family lunch but far from a proper drinking pub. Just two beers on in London Pride and HSB, not my cup of tea at all.

Picturesque Fullers pub overlooking the River Test. Multi-roomed and low ceilinged with a breezily upmarket ambience. Tartan carpet, third-length wood panelling, red walls. Simply Red on the speakers. Outside seating and conservatory very nice for the long lazy summer afternoons. On the ale front we had Seafarers, HSB (good nick) and Summer Ale. Only stayed for five minutes as there was World Cup footy to catch (no TVs here) but I’d be happy to pop back.
