Cask was a single hand pump dispensing Pedigree, other hand pump not used. Keg offering of Guinness, San Miguel, Moretti, Stella, Carling, Fosters, Strongbow original, Thatchers Gold and some Marstons smooth ale.
Regular pub, a little off Newport Rd to provide some car parking for visitors. Focal point of the pub is the bar counter which is in the middle of the venue with this part and the walk from the entrance a tiled flooring area. The venue is carpeted toward the back, away from the bar counter, with seating a mixture of regular tables and chairs, some booths and banquettes along the glass fronted wall opposite the bar counter. A local's venue and I would imagine I was the only one here from far afield but reassuring to find such a venue busy on a Monday mid evening. Some TV's showing evening news and fruit machines provided some additional stimulation here.
