Cask offering was the Wye Valley combo of HPA and Butty Bach with one hand pump unclipped. Cask offering was 1985 lager, Stowford Press cider, Guinness, Cruz, Peroni.
Another pleasant mountain’ish inn that takes a bit of getting to. Here the bar counter is just inside the entrance with the bar area to the left of the entrance. Tiled, boarded and carpeted with seating in the bar area via regular tables and chairs with some tall stool seating around the two sides of the bar counter. Beer garden out the back with patio style furniture on a paved and gravelled area. There was a large fire grate with log burner to the left of the bar counter, TV above switched off on my visit with peace and quiet reigning in the premises. The area to the right of the entrance was laid for diners. There was some picnic style benches out the front. Another pleasant venue but lacking the charm and beer options of my previous two venues this evening.

Long whitewashed building down a slope off the main road. Rather bit knocked-through internally and the white, black and duck egg blue colour scheme allied with slab and wood flooring made it feel a bit sparse, not helped by there being a distinct chill in the air. Smells inside like it's just had a tarting-up. Four ales on; Brains SA, Butcombe Bitter, Wye Valley Butty Bach (fair) and Wye Valley HPA. Perhaps there’s still some finishing touches to be done here? It didn’t quite click for me or Desmond.
