The Red Lion Beefeater was originally a Coaching Inn built around 120 years ago and is a very imposing building. The place has facilities such as a beer garden and facilities for children such as a play are with climbing frame. There is a Premier Inn next door. There is breakfast available Monday - Friday 6.30am - 10.30am & Saturday, Sunday 7am - 11am. Main Meals are daily from 12noon, The good part the bar is open Monday - Saturday 12noon - 11pm & Sunday 12noon - 10.30pm.

Called in first time for years its cleaner than it used to be not a pub you feel comfortable in not for drinkers very foody its gone down the same way as a lot of chain pubs are doing going back to booths to sit and eat in
