The Kings Head sits just above the Victoria tramway station from where trams depart from Llandudno town centre to the summit of the Great Orme. We'd hoped to eat here after returning from the summit on the tram. But food is only served from Wednesday to Sunday.
With the sunny weather holding out, most people were sat in the garden area overlooking the tram line. We also decided to sup our drinks outdoors. Although the interior looked quite cosy and traditional.
Whether it's owned by Greene King or not, I'm not sure. However, IPA & Abbot are the regular beers. Guest beers were much more adventurous - Bragdy Twt Lol Cwrw'r Afr Serchog ~ Horny Goat Ale & Strawberry Fields Marmalade Skies. Both were very enjoyable in the sunshine. Service was with a smile. Despite being the pub I'd left until last in Llandudno, this turned out to be one of my favourites.

Next to the Great Orme tramway with an absolute suntrap of a garden. As it was a lovely day we headed up here for a couple of afternoon pints. Reputed to be over 300 years old the inside is all low beams and old wood with several small areas on different levels. It's a Greene King house, but had Adnams Ghost Ship as a guest, perfect for a sunny day. The beer was in good nick and we spent a pleasant hour or so here watching the comings and goings.

Handy for the Great Orme tramway but a bit of an uphill hike from the town, this is billed as "Llandudno's oldest" but is nonetheless quite a nice pub with lots of nooks and crannies. The beer range is still not wonderful, with IPA, Abbot and a brew from Old Mill, but otherwise worth a visit.
