This may or may not be connected to the Royal Oak as it IS connected to the Royal Oak! It is a wide, thin pub with a pool table to the right. 6 handpulls in 2 banks of 3 with beers from Conwy (Welsh Pride, Rampart and Clogwyn Gold) doubled up. Plenty of seating out front.

More of a café-bar than a traditional pub, Y Stablau provides a welcoming bolt-hole for a pint of good ale and some good food. I had an excellent pint of Conwy Brewery's Belchder Cymru (Welsh Pride) which made the visit all the more enjoyable!
