Peter Smith left this review about Boatyard Inn

Visited this pub for years when it was a Traditional oldie worldie pub with lots of memoribillia of the sea.
and even run by a sea captain..In recent years its changed hands a couple of times with more direction towards food and with a refurb looks well but unfortuatly not to my liking. Inside is clinical, and not a welcome it used to have and as the the boatyard will no longer be there in the future it will need another name change..i suggest THE UNION...

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Boatyard Inn

Decent, food-orientated pub also offering very reasonable bed-and-breakfast accommodation. Well kept Marstons ales. Formerly the Union Tavern but, as the new name suggests, right by the small harbour in the Garth area of Bangor.
