Mrs M googling best sunday lunch near Abergavenny and this came up. But by Christ, you have got to a) want to go there and b) have a car with a very good clutch. I dont think I have ever driven up a road as steep. There is an easier way, which doubles the mileage.
A two roomer. Front room restaurant and a rear "family room" which we we placed in as we had a dog. All a bit rough and ready, with no decor of note and a central bar. Butty Bach on and easily the coldest Butty I have ever had.
We were here for the food, and it was as good as the reviews suggested.
