Beer Belly left this review about The Pier Hotel

Another Ex Bank's. It's Been taken over again this time by the Lord Beechings landlord and employed the nice Barmaid as manager. As with all of his establishments Beer & Ales are certainly not of interest and are unavailable. Sensible footwear should be warn here due to the Sea Shells concreted into the floor.
Opening times might be longer and earlier than others around.

Small hotel bar that has been recently opened up to the rear of the building. Two ales from Banks (very hit-and-miss these days), two pint servings and jelly baby flavour vodka. Interior is IKEA-lite. Dart board available. Used to quite like it here but gone off it cos of the appalling ale.
