A traditional old rural pub with a big garden adjoining a caravan site. with the absence of the chef this afternoon I was able to appreciate the true tranquility and beauty of the pub with just a few locals at the bar. Very friendly hospitality from the barman. Guzzler and Black Sheep the two ales.

Truly excellent. Turned up on a hot Saturday. Located next to river with running water in the background. A cracking pint of ale and the Punch Bowl burger for lunch was one of the best. Sat outside as the a Ford Model T rally went past. Large beer garden to the rear. Well worth dropping off the A65 and taking the B road. Landlord friendly and all the patrons.
