There was a dominoes match going on in the room to the left when I was here, so I went in the totally deserted room to the right. There was only one beer available on hand pump, Marstons Pedigree, but this was in very good condition and I enjoyed both my beer and my relaxing but all too brief stay here. Not a destination pub if it's an extensive choice of real ales you're after, but as an interesting and comfortable pub with a friendly atmosphere, it is one that I would have no problem about returning to.
