Rough old pub at odds with its surrounds. A basic interior with a couple of pool tables and a lack of seating, so I decamped out front to the rickety tables. Piped music outside which I imagine gets on the locals tits, though it did provide amusement as some joker slipped in a bit of Cliff, which led to an inquest at the bar. No cask, so a half of Guinness which got poured as a pint - classic. The Waverley serves the locale much better, I guess this is the ‘jam jar at the picnic’ pub.

This is a fantastic pub with brilliant people and a cracking atmosphere. Pool table, darts and pub games to be played on your own or with any unwitting person who may be in the pub.
Serves a great range of drinks with a friendly invite from the landlord & landlady.
One of those pubs to visit any day of the week with people are always friendly and inviting.
I thought that this pub was such a laugh and now make it my local...Its a Yes from me.
