just gets worse and worse, you probably won’t even get inside if you haven’t booked a table for food. Drinkers are sent outside unless you can get one of the few tables in the bar. Not a pub anymore as far as i’m concerned.

Thwaites refurbishment has turned this historic pub into more of an upmarket restaurant with beer. does have a few rooms including an absolutely tiny one with a bar. there's another larger bar somewhere but I didn't find it. the rest of the place is usually full of diners. some character remains here but it's no longer the cosy charming place it was.

Always call in here pub full of character old worldly place its a joy to go in very nice beer garden at the back a must if you're in Heysham village
