A new build Beefeater next door to a Premier Inn and overlooking the marina and a lake.The building is uninspiring,but there are benches outside for fine weather use.The interior splits into a wait to be seated dining area to the left,large with a kitchen at the rear,while to the right is the drinking area with a mix of furniture,sofas,some high benches and the serving bar.There is a faux fireplace,and a very corporate feel and punters will also be served food in this section so there is no escaping associated smells.
There are two handpumps at the bar serving on my trip London Pride with the other pump clip featuring a paper sign saying " Festive Ale £2.49".I didn't dare and settled for a bottle of BrewDog IPA (330cl £4.25) to wash down my lunchtime deal fish and chips (£5 ,decent enough)
No reason to go out of your way to this pub,it's functional if visiting the marina or staying in the Premier Inn.
