A pretty basic boozer. Knocked-through interior, brightly lit with magnolia paint. To the right was an unlit fire and a TV showing footy and to the left, a pool table. Terrible draught coming in where we were sat, though we couldn’t work out where from. Feargal Sharkey fan in the pub, A Good Heart came on twice in 10 minutes. Basic pub grub offered, cheap as chips so we decided to fuel here and save pennies for more beer – food was fair enough for the price paid. Just Doom Bar available for caskage, though it came out better than I’d dared expect. Service at the bar was fine, despite us clearly being viewed as unusual exhibits – neither of us being locals or Dutch truckers. Overall, the place needs a fair bit of TLC but as a basic and unpretentious boozer, it’s decent enough.

This pub has a large front bar with a smaller drinking/eating area at the side.Not much to say about it really other than it is comfortable and the London Pride was in good form.
