After a brief period of closure there are new licensees.
November 2011
Large roadside pub on the A4. Usually three ales on, a couple from Loddon and Doom Bar though Hogs Back and West Berks have been spotted - quality can be variable. Pool and large screen TV for the football. Food is offered. Clientèle on the younger and gruffer side.

I should have taken a picture. This is a great meeting place in its so easy to find, the car park around the back does not feel very safe though. I plan to go back, take a picture and post a better review.
