Requested be closed with reason - Other: With numerous planning applications having been refused, there's some hope that the locals may be able to get hold of the place and re-open it as a community asset.

Closed. Application to turn into housing looks to have gone through. Made a couple of Good Beer Guide appearances.

A pretty country pub, which has recently been refurbished to cater for the dining crowd - a bit clinically for my taste. There's usually two to three ales available in decent nick and it's quite large inside. Not bad, overall.
