One of the problems with a pub that majors on food is that the ale can take second string and that's the case here: three on offer and you can have any style you like so long as it's a brown best bitter. We opted for Harveys Sussex which, to be fair, was just fine, and passed on the London Pride and Sharp's ubiquitous.
Inside seems to be a multi-roomed kind of place. Didn't really look about as the weather was good enough to get us outside; the garden out the back really is a proper garden and a good place to while away a few hours.
