Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Waterside
Large, family-orientated Eating Inn next to a Premier Inn on the edge of the town centre just over the Mersey Bridge. Anonymous modern furniture and uninspiring corporate decor in the various seating / dining areas (with further space upstairs, but roped off when I visited). Also has some wooden benches on the front lawn. Beer-wise, Greene King IPA was available from a modern dispenser, together with Woodforde's Wherry from one of a pair of traditional handpumps.

Part of a Premier Inn. It stunk of vinegar. Its not quite on the waterside but it is close to the River Mersey. 2 casks available.
