Blue Scrumpy left this review about Black Dog Inn
Countryside pub that we visited after a few hours at the nearby South Lakes Safari Zoo. Whilst most people were enjoying the sunshine outside, we had seen enough sun on the hottest day of the year so far. So, we chose a table indoors.
The Black Dog has a couple of rooms. It also offers accommodation. We were asked if we were checking in when we arrived.
The regular ale is Cumbrian Legendary Ales Loweswater Gold. Guest ales were all from Hawkshead - Bitter, Mosaic & Windermere Pale.
