Strongers . left this review about The White Swan
The White Swan was very busy during a recent Thursday early evening visit with the split-level patio and decking area out the back being full with sun worshippers and their four legged friends, in fact I’ve never seen so many dogs in a pub. The pub’s front entrance opens onto the bar area with a fairly short counter to directly to the left. Premium keg was available alongside four hand pumps, three of which were in operation drawing Robinson’s Cumbria Way, Unicorn Brewing’s AMO and Rosie’s Pig Cider. To the left of the counter at the rear is some raised seating and an L-shaped seating area with a mix of banquettes and high tables is found to the right of the entrance. A television in here was airing Olympics via BBC, TNT Sports is advertised for the football. On the far right of the pub is an extension with thick wooden furniture and a dartboard. I could see why this place was popular, worth a look if in the area.

A friendly 2 roomed pub with a good traditional feel to it. Another pub a couple of hundred yards down make for a decent stop if you're on the Liverpool Chester bus.
