Food-based pub close to Stithians Lake. A fairly plain interior, uncluttered by too much decoration, with a sideways bar in the centre and a large extension with picture windows behind, leading to a garden. Although you can see the lake from the pub they do not make the most of the view. At the front is a smaller equally plain room, which can be reserved for groups. Although the back room is the restaurant, all the pub is set out for eating with little pub-type activity - the food is ok though. A couple of ales from St Austell were fair enough. The pub has a camp site behind and there is a watersports centre adjacent.
