A friendly and welcoming hostelry. Good St Austell HSD (*Hicks* Special Draught, named after the founder)on offer. Strongly recommended.

Followed pub sign after visiting the Eden Project, it was a bit of a winding road, but it was worth the effort
Only pub in village, so obviously everyone's "local". Reasonable sized car park, same goes for one large bar. Some areas given over to carpeted dining area, other is pool playing part
Three hand pulls, all casque marked. I opted for the HSD [Higson's Special Draught] at £3.10. Which was a lovely pint, but as I was driving it was to be my only one, a big shame as I could just have settled in for a really nice afternoon in the sunshine, chatting with the locals
They sell food, most under a tenner, but not your bog standard pub grub menu. Not tried food or seen it, so cannot comment on this aspect
All in all a very pleasant & friendly pub & I would have no qualms about going back, in the unlikely event I am ever in the area again
