There was some work going on so I stopped for a chat as well as a photo. One of the men was evidently the owner, who gave a resigned and somewhat weary shrug at the amount of work that will be involved in getting the place reopened - including rewiring the whole building. There are a number of holiday cottages in the village, so there may be some trade to be found when the job is complete. I wished him luck.
