Pleasant village local famous for its delicious pies. Bar,plus 4 other linked rooms, all decorated and furnished in a pleasing but understated style. Usually 3 ales on handpull - I enjoyed the excellent Carlisle State Bitter by Derwent Brewery at £3-30 pint
