Robbies pub, a few minutes walk downhill from the station on a fairly spooky small road (well, on a foggy November night, anyway). A none-too-sympathetically done-over interior over three areas with a crude knock-through on the left that looks unfinished. Basic main bar in the middle with four cask: 3x Robbies and a Hawkshead. My halves of Cumbria Way and Unicorn both lacked turnover (NBSS 2 and 2.5) and I think I was the only one drinking it. GBG listed, but more for pump count I suspect. Disappointing, given the hype elsewhere. I was happy to get the first train back to Carlisle.
