Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Rose & Crown
Decent village pub, which is rather more attractive inside than the plain-ish exterior might suggest. Retains a traditional - if compact - layout of two bars, with a comfortable wedge-shaped lounge at the front and a more austere one at the back with stone floors and sparser decor. Also has a side 'Tap Room'. As a Greene King house, it had IPA, Old Speckled Hen and the house 'Barlborough Best' (3.9%, £3.20) available from a total of six handpumps distributed between the two bars.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Rose & Crown
The Rose and Crown used to be a kimberley tied house which looks quite nice with the village cross close to it.
This pub is fairly smart inside and is now probably run by Greene King, when i last went in here it had real ale on the bar but it was closed 2 Oct 2010 dinnertime but still looked functional.
