Closed by Robinsons in August 2013 and put up for sale, with the expected outcome being that it would be for non-pub use. However, it reopened as a free house in early 2014.

The Wanted Inn is situated in a very remote position,the pub is called this because it was left empty and unwanted for a few years in the 50s when Robinsons bought the pub they renamed it the Wanted Inn.
Once inside there was a comfortable room with a stone floor and there were pictures on the wall of the pub almost covered in snow.
This is a Robinsons tied house and there were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons bitter and this was a nice drink the other beers were Robinsons Hatters mild / Fredericks and Hartleys XB.
This pub is well out of the way but it is well worth finding.
