Moby Duck left this review about Crosses Corner

A one roomed pub with sports tv, the place was clean but unremarkably basic with a mixture of high and low seating.Just the two handpumps on the bar with only one on, a passable W&E Parklife. It was rather quiet compared to The Queen Victoria over the road and as a result less atmospheric,I prefered it over there.

hondo . left this review about Crosses Corner

Corner pub across from the criterion. 2 real ales and food served. Rugby memorabilia on the walls and the pub has a pool table.

Quinno _ left this review about Crosses Corner

Directly opposite the Criterion and apparently in competition for the same customers. This is a knocked through corner pub, with two ales on and an interesting choice for Windsor in Theakston XB (£3.40, tasted fine) and Deuchars IPA. Leffe was also noted in the fridge. Big on sports - rugby shirts scattered around the pub and the big screen seems to show pretty much anything going. I preferred this one over the Criterion but they’re both peas in the same pod.
