Oggwyn Great left this review about Cock Inn

Friendly locals pub in a small village just south of Ashbourne , it has a slightly run down feel but a very friendly welcome from staff and regulars .
There is a central bar serving the main bar area and a couple of other rooms to the rear .
Usual kegs and a couple of real ales , the Thwaites Wainwright was decent enough .
I enjoyed my short visit here .
The village shop is to the rear , it is the biggest vending machine i have ever seen !!
