Strongers . left this review about Ventoux

Ventoux is a small bar with serving counter on the right wall facing seating down the left. Limited premium keg is available. The guy running the bar tried charging me £5.70 for a half lager, no apology from him when I politely pointed out his error. This was the second time in the same day, and third time during my week holiday, that an Edinburgh bar had tried to short change me. Nothing of note here, other than a strip of bicycles wired to the ceiling. I’ll not be returning.

The Illicit Still is has reopened: 10 top draughts, 2 real ales, 8 of the best value top wines, and the city's finest malts, including the hard-to-get Sheep Dip.

Feel free to carry out some business or Facebooking on the free hi-speed wireless internet, or play some Wii sports on the large-screen 50in plasma TV.
