Attached to a hotel - which may go some way to explaining the prices.
Our visit was the day before the rule of 6 was introduced. These guys were preparing hard. A velvet rope blocked entrance through the main door, where you had to be met and taken to your seat and the rules were explained. Since pubs have reopened in July - this is the only place that have asked for masks to be word when not at your table. Go to the loo - wear a mask.
Service was solely by teenagers who made up for their lack of organisation by being incredibly cheery. You couldn't really complain if you had been waiting 20 minutes for your Tribute to turn up. Two other beers on - including a rarely seen honey beer.
Sunday lunch was £15 per head - but was above average. Cheese board represented better value at £8.50. All told - a meal for three, with a couple of round of drinks crept into the three figures.
