Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Linton Holme Inn

Given that this pub is hidden away in the cobbled backstreets, it is a surprise to find that it was formerly a hotel (and with quite a grand corner entrance at that). Also, the rather rundown facades belie a refurbished interior that retains clear aspects of its original multi-room layout (including heritage features such as tiling, fireplaces and etched windows) despite having been partly opened-out at some stage. Pool table and dartboard. The two handpumps are sadly disused, but bottled beers in the fridges include Landlord, Hobgoblin and Belhaven Black stout (£3.30). Extra point for a friendly welcome to a random visitor too.
