Old Blue left this review about The Swan
Nicely situated, stone built village free house with a pleasant garden which has a great view over the countryside. Inside there is the main bar area and a games/children’s room with a pool table at one end and toys strewn around the other. Its two hand pumps offer Courage Best and Theakston XB, and if you look behind you as you order you’ll see a framed memento to the landlord’s 40th anniversary of running the place – it’s been his pub since 1966 and you get the feeling he hasn’t allowed very much to change in most of that time.
I guess this pub gets most of its trade from families visiting the nearby swannery and other attractions – it’s okay but I doubt I’d come here again for a drink.
