E TA left this review about The Loders Arms

A very pleasant village pub currently run by Palmers. It has a car par at the the back, next to a decent sized garden with good views over the neighbouring countryside. There is a single long bar, carpeted, with a stone hearth at one end housing a modern woodburner. At the other end is a wider dining area which also has a brick fireplace and good views over the valley behind. Various rural bric-a-brac adorn the walls. The young staff were pleasant and helpful, while a couple of the locals were happy to chat to us. There was a pub dog, greyhound in a fleece jacket, which also had its circle of friends. Ales on were all Palmer's - Copper, Gold and IPA, all in good condition. The keg range was Palmer's Dorset Pale, Amstel, Cruzcampo, Guinness, Orchard Gold and Orchard Haze. It's worth finding if you're in the area, but it's opening hours are somewhat restricted, so as a village local it lets itself down in that respect, and it's worth making sure it's actually open before going.
