Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Station
Substantial Greene King pub now located opposite rather than beside the station since that was relocated to the London side of the former level crossing. Refurbished, semi-modern, sports-bar interior. Beer garden at the side or back, depending on how you look at the building which has two main entrance doorways. Station. Greene King. Should have had IPA and Old Speckled Hen on two of the four handpumps, plus a cider, but there was a temporary cellar problem so had to make do with the keg Level Best (£2.90, half).

Strongers . left this review about The Station
Euro 2016 is heavily advertised on the exterior so I wasn’t surprised to see lots of flags and a small crowd watching the end of Albania v Switzerland on multiple flat screen televisions during a recent Saturday afternoon visit. It was not the most interesting match so a few of the locals were playing pool on a table located to the right of the entrance.
The bar located on the rear wall supports a standard and premium keg range and Greene King’s Purple Reign alongside Morland Original. Hardly surprising as this is a GK pub that comes complete with their ‘reasonably priced’ national food menu. Deals such as two meals for a tenner are available all day every day.
To the right of the pub is a patio garden with seating which was empty due to the inclement weather. This is the only pub in the village that was showing football, which is its only draw.
