Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bulls Head
This village pub beside the busy A271 has its place in history as the first tied house for Harvey's (which is a bit surprising given that it's not especially close to Lewes). Anyway it is a traditional as you would hope for in the bar facing the road, a small lounge beyond that and a dining room going back from there. Also has a neat, partly covered beer garden to the rear. Four cask beers on the five handpumps, with the newly rebranded Sisters Table Beer (£5.10) and XX Dark Mild in addition to Olympia and the obligatory Sussex.

Strongers . left this review about Bulls Head
A sign facing the car park on the exterior of the Bull’s Head states that this 18th century pub was the first ever purchased by Harvey and Son Lewes Ltd. This is still a Harvey’s pub, so it wasn’t surprising to see Best, Old Ale and Star of Eastbourne available on cask from the L-shaped bar. Also being drawn were Harveys Bulls Head (rebadge?) and Thatchers Stan’s Big Apple cider. A standard keg range is also available, and food is served during lunch and dinner periods. There is seating around the exterior walls in the bar area and there are some seating areas down the left side of the pub. I didn’t spot a television and there was no background music playing, but there was a good atmosphere from the handful of locals and the bar staff.
Out the back is a patio area with covered smoking area that houses chopped logs for the many fireplaces within the pub. A large grass covered beer garden with picnic tables is found beyond. Dogs are welcome and there are treats on the bar. This is a good pub that I would gladly return to.
