Formerly The Blue Flag, this is the sister establishment to the Tree at Iffley, Oxford, and is a hotel / restaurant / bar between Marlow and Stokenchurch that offers English and Indian cuisine. A modernised rustic interior sees a long bar to the right, with dining to left and beyond and seats available to drinkers to the right and an almost separate cosy living type room. Sadly no ales as both had the "glass over the handle" treatment: apparently the dray "wasn't due until Wednesday", so is scored deliberately low. Another one worth a summer re-visit in order to reevaluate.
