Tex Icecubes left this review about Coach & Horses
It was a cold bleak tuesday night and we had been driving around looking for somewhere pleasant for a bite to eat. We came across the coach and horses which looked promising. Car park almost full and through the window people were chatting and relaxed.
The two real ales on offer were Deuchars and Speckled Hen. We were in the lounge with a dozen or so other people (a middle aged crowd). In the public bar the younger folk were enjoying a game of darts and sharing joviality.
The emerald green painted radiators and walls drew a stark contrast to the orange ceiling, and the dark wood complimented wifeys beautiful deep brown eyes and warm smile.
There was a saddle and a collar (often used by shire horses and gurners) above the fireplace.
Two meals for £10 we both had a curry. A pint of Deuchars and half of Fosters came to £3.85.
Two pretty barmaids and a man depending on your preference.
All in all its an ok place, not worth an extensive detour, but pretty handy for the M6.
