The Vernon Arms is a largish pub that is situated in a fairly posh area to the south of the middle of Poynton.
Once inside i went into a fairly large room that was carpeted and quite smart and comfy,the pub seemed to be more food orientated but as a drinker i was made just as welcome.
There were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was Boddingtons cream crap which it was.
This pub seemed to be popular with older people who were having meals and a drink.
This was not my sort of pub.
