This has been my local since it opened at Easter, 1985. Several landlords/landladies have run the Shady over the years ranging from excellent to downright incompetent. The current incumbents, Linda & Rob, are providing a good range of cask beers and lagers. There is about to be a refurbishment to include new kitchen facilities to provide home cooking.
