Strongers . left this review about The New Albion Inn
The New Albion is a very basic cash only pub with a bar counter on the right-hand wall that supports standard keg alongside San Miguel. A central double sided chimney breast with brick patterned wallpaper breaks up the rectangular interior. It houses a couple of burners that looked like they were more for show than use, but the housekeeping here may be impeccable, so I stand to be corrected. There’s a pool table and televisions throughout were airing muted Sky Sports whilst some background music played for the entertainment of myself and the other customer during a recent Wednesday evening visit. Patio doors to the left lead to a flagstone and AstroTurf fence enclosed seating area. I wasn’t a fan of the music, décor or drinks selection and the welcome was certainly not enthusiastic so I don’t plan on returning.
